Return Policy
Please inspect your shipment upon receipt and file all claims for shortage or damage with the delivery carrier, within 24 hours of receipt of shipment. If a product is damaged in shipment or has concealed damage on the inside, this is an issue to take up with the carrier (UPS, FEDEX, etc.).
For instances other than damage or shortage:
Most, but not all, of the products we sell may be returned under the following circumstances:
- A return authorization number must be issued for all returns. Please call our office at 877-378-6212 or send an email to dsisales4@msn.com.
- Returns must be done within 10 days of receipt of product by purchaser.
- Products must be in original packaging, with all parts, warranty, and instruction information included.
- Products must be in original packaging and unused.

Customer is responsible for paying the return shipping charges as well as our cost of shipping the product to the customer.
We deal with many manufacturers, and many of them have restocking fees on returned products. If this applies to the product being returned, the restocking fee will be deducted from the refund amount. Restocking fees range from 15% to 25%, depending on the manufacturer.
If there was a problem that was our fault, (ie. Wrong item was shipped) we will gladly have the product picked up at no cost to the customer, and issue a refund or reship the correct product as requested by customer.
Products That Are Non-returnable:
- Any type of bathroom product that has been used
- Items or Parts that have been scratched or marked up
- Any electrical parts
- Any Disposables, Creams, Gels
- Any Hot & Cold Therapy products
- Any foundation/hosiery type products
- Lift Chairs & Adjustable Beds
Regarding the Purchase of Lift Chairs & Adjustable Beds
When you purchase a lift chair or bed from our company, please be advised that the chair or bed will only be delivered to your front door if you live in a house or to the apartment office if you live in an apartment. The delivery person will not take the box inside, nor will he or she un-box anything for you. Therefore, if you are not able to un-box and move the chair or bed yourself, you will need to make arrangements to have someone assist you.
Once you have accepted a chair or bed delivery, any damage done in shipping, will need to be addressed by you, with the delivery company. If, when delivered, the box has obvious damage, it is up to you to refuse the delivery, and the chair or bed will be shipped back to the manufacturer. A new chair or bed will then be shipped to you.
Once you receive your lift chair or an adjustable bed, it is very important that you fill our the warranty card sent with the item, and return the card to Med-Lift. (WARRANTY CARD MUST BE SENT IN FOR THE WARRANTY TO BE VALID.) If, over time, your chair or bed should develop a problem and does not work properly, please contact our office at 1-877-378-6212, so we can help you determine the appropriate part that might be needed. We can then order the part or parts for replacement. These parts will be charged to you, and then the charge will be credited back to you, once the defective part has been returned to Med-Lift, if the part is still under warranty. If the repair is something that you cannot do yourself, and the chair or bed needs to be returned to Med-Lift, and if you do not have the original shipping box, call our office, and we will have a box sent to you. It is your responsibility to box the chair or bed and notify us when ready for pick-up. The shipping fee to have your chair or bed returned to Med-Lift will be charged to your credit card. If the repair is a warranty issue, the chair or bed will be repaired and returned to you at no charge for the return shipping. You are, however, responsible for the shipping cost to ship the chair initially, to Med-Lift. If the repair is not under warranty, you will be notified the cost of the repair. Upon your approval, the repair will be performed, you will be charged for the repair and the cost to ship the chair or bed back to you. This is in addition to the original shipping cost to ship the chair or bed to Med-Lift. If you should decide not to have the chair or bed repaired, you will be responsible for the shipping charges to have the chair or bed returned to you.
